Made from reclaimed Red Oak tree branches, the holder will accommodate standard size tea lights 1-1/2" in diameter. The actual diameter of the wood holder will vary with the growth profile of each reclaimed branch, with a minimum diameter of 2-1/2" and a height of 1-1/4". We do remove the bark to avoid any peeling away from the wood over time, reveal the full grain character and texture of the wood, and eliminate any small insects from tagging along! As a natural wood product, there may be cracks and splits ("checking") in the candle holder you receive, and which may expand slightly or occur over time. We feel this adds to the overall natural appeal and character of the wood. Larger checking will be resin filled and finished as appropriate. These tea light candle holders are finished with Danish oil in either a natural or dark walnut color. The images shown are representative of the tea light candle holder you will receive, which may differ slightly in size and color. Price shown is for a single tea light candle holder. As this is intended to be used with candles, it is your responsibility to use and place the candle and holder appropriately, away from flammable materials, and out of the reach of children and pets.
