The royal parents, who touched down in Bhutan on Thursday morning, joined the Himalayan kingdom’s Dragon King and Queen for a private dinner at Lingkana Palace.

Will and Kate, whose long-awaited first meeting with the Bhutanese royals took place earlier, left the Taj Tashi hotel for the royal palace after a busy day that saw Kate take her best shot at archery.

Changing out of her traditional kira for the dinner, Kate wore a Bhutanese-inspired Tory Burch dress with two knee-high slits, teamed with black open-toe heels and a red shawl. With three kids between them, we bet the two sets of royal parents had plenty to discuss!

The Dragon King, 36, and the Dragon Queen, 25 – who both studied in England before ascending to the throne in the small Himalayan nation.

The royals are in Bhutan to increase links between the two countries. The fact that William, 33, and Kate, 34, are similar ages to the Bhutanese royals means the meeting is an opportunity to create a new link between the nations.
