Just four days after his dance-off with Taylor Swift, Tom Hiddleston showed once again why he’s got the magic touch.

The man who just may be the future James Bond shared a hug with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall at the BBC Radio 2 studios in London on Friday.

Camilla was there to discuss the children’s literary competition, 500 Words with DJ Chris Evans. Hiddleston was there promoting his latest film, and the pair had a chance to chat and pose for a picture together.

And when the actor affectionately put his arm around the 68-year-old-royal, it prompted speculation that Hiddleston had broken royal protocol.

Turns out, that couldn’t have been further from the truth.

“I think she quite enjoyed it!” a spokesperson for Clarence House tells PEOPLE, confirming that there was no breach of protocol, merely a “warm moment” between two people that “got on very well and had a very nice chat together.”

And it was: The two laughed as Camilla confessed that she was a big fan of his recent BBC spy drama, The Night Manager.

“Sunday nights just aren’t the same without you,” she confessed to him.

Best known for his role as the villain ‘Loki’ in the Marvel blockbusters Thor, The Avengers and Thor: The Dark World the 35-year-old Eton-educated actor is a fan frontrunner to replace Daniel Craig as 007 in the Bond franchise after his role playing the suave and sophisticated Jonathan Pine – a charming ex-soldier who successfully infiltrates the inner circle of an arms dealer – in The Night Manager.

Also meeting Camilla as guests of Evan’s morning breakfast show was the British actress Helen George who stars in Call The Midwife as well as Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner, who Camilla was a little less familiar with than Hiddleston. “I have spotted you on the box as well,” she said, seemingly oblivious to the HBO hit.

It’s just one more celeb-filled event in an already glamorous week for Camilla and Prince Charles. On Wednesday, they hosted an exclusive reception for 131 British Oscar winners at St. James Palace. There, they mingled with Hollywood royalty such as Sir Michael Caine, Dame Judi Dench, Colin Firth and Emma Thompson, who even serenaded the couple with a song.

Camilla, who is a passionate supporter of promoting literacy, agreed to become an honorary judge for 500 Words, the creative writing competition, founded by Evans six years ago. Today, she helped choose the winning young writers who will experience their story being read out live on air by a celebrity. Nearly half a million people have participated in the competition to date.
