The Swedish royal family has released the name of their newest little addition: H.R.H. Prince Nicolas Paul Gustaf, Duke of Angermanland.

Just days after Prince Carl Philip and Sofia Hellqvist tied the knot in a romantic ceremony, Princess Madeleine, 33, gave birth to the healthy baby boy.

Nicolas is a name used in the Bernadotte family, which is the lineage of the Swedish royal house. The little royal was also named after his father and grandfather, who both share the name Paul. And Gustav is in honor of the baby’s maternal grandfather, King Carl XVI Gustaf.

Prince Nicolas, who weighed in at 6.7 lbs. and was 19.3 inches long, also had his first official photo op – and it s royally cute!

The newborn is pictured in gray cotton pants and a matching sweater with a little white collar.

Proud dad Christopher O Neill, 40, shared a few sweet details as he left Danderyd Hospital Monday with his scene-stealing daughter, Princess Leonore, in his arms.

It went very well, he told the waiting crowd. I think [Leonore] mistook him for a doll. But it couldn t have gone any better.

O Neill added that he was tired but very happy, and when asked if the baby was sweet, he replied: Of course.

According to documents, the baby is registered in Sweden s central register under the last name Bernadotte, which is the lineage of the Swedish royal house. Most royals, however, do not have a surname.

And the baby boy has already received a few important royal visits. King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia arrived late in the afternoon on Monday to see their third grandson.

We are overjoyed, Queen Silvia told Aftonbladet.
