Prepare to be inspired.

In a new promo video for the second Invictus Games, wounded warriors show off their strength and tenacity as they compete in various athletic events.

Featured prominently in the video is the head of the American team, retired Army Captain Will Reynolds, who lost his left leg above the knee after an improvised explosive device detonated in Iraq.

Reynolds won four medals in track at the first Invictus Games in 2014 and is currently training for cycling and track events at this year’s Games. He recently spoke to PEOPLE about event founder Prince Harry‘s hands-on approach to organizing the Games.

“I would say every athlete, all 400 plus, had at least one personal interaction with him,” Reynolds said. “He was just that present and that accessible. He was not only a champion for the Games, but he was really rolling up his sleeves and involved in the planning and execution of it.”

Reynolds shared that Harry, who served two tours in Afghanistan, has a special bond with the Invictus competitors.

“We are his community,” Reynolds said. “He has brothers and sisters from the military service who are affected by this.”
