See the first snap of Sweden's newest little prince

Welcome to the world, Your Highness!

The first photo of Sweden’s newest royal is here — and his proud parents are clearly excited about his arrival.

Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia left the hospital Friday with their new little prince — whose name has not yet been announced — after welcoming him to the family on Thursday.

The family looks relaxed and happy in the sweet snap, which they shared — like any other proud parent — on Instagram. Sofia looked impossibly stunning in sneakers and skinny jeans (yes, just one day after giving birth!), while Prince Carl Philip wore a button down shirt and gray pants. Their son sat in a carrier, wrapped up in a blanket and wearing a hat on his head. The couple adorably held hands in the picture, too.

In the photo’s caption, the couple shared that they have left the hospital and safely arrived back home.

Not pictured in the photo is Sofia and Carl Philip’s first born son, Prince Alexander, who is welcoming his new little brother home.

On Friday, Carl Philip spoke to reporters about the family’s addition: “We are really happy. It’s a very cute boy.”

The Swedish royal family is in the middle of a royal baby boom: Carl Philip’s younger sister, Princess Madeleine, announced last weekend that she’s expecting her third child.
