Little Prince George and Princess Charlotte are getting ready for the Christmas holidays!

Little being the operative word – as these tiny models at Legoland in Windsor show the royal figures in miniature – preparing for the season by making sure that their letters to Santa are sent off in the Royal Mail.

The display is at Legoland’s Windsor park, a short drive from Gan-Gan’s – as George calls Queen Elizabeth – castle.

The Lego figures of George and Charlotte are wrapped up against the cold in newly-knitted mittens and hats as they post their mail outside the permanent Buckingham Palace. In another scene, the little royals join mom and dad Prince William and Princess Kate and Uncle Prince Harry for Christmas lunch, with a table laid out with a seasonal fruit pudding, turkey and tiny Christmas crackers.

Kate, William and Harry are all depicted in festive Christmas sweaters – and there’s a Santa hat for Lupo, to keep the family’s Cocker Spaniel warm.

Earlier this year, the family amusement park painstakingly recreated a street party scene outside the palace to tie in with the real festivities that were running for the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations.
