A Side-by-Side Comparison of Kate & Meghan's Royal Weddings
IN THE CAR
En route to the church, Kate Middleton drove with her dad, Michael, while Meghan Markle opted to head over to St. George's Chapel with mom Doria Ragland amid family drama with her father Thomas.
While Kate and Meghan both wore long-sleeved gowns, Prince William's bride opted for Alexander McQueen while Prince Harry's new wife wore Givenchy in a boatneck style.
THE VEIL LOOK
Kate, who did her own makeup on her big day, and Meghan, who opted for a more natural look, both wore veils that passed their shoulders and were secured by tiaras loaned to both of them by Queen Elizabeth II.
THE BRIDAL PARTY
While Kate enlisted sister Pippa as her maid of honor, Meghan was accompanied by adorable page boys and junior bridesmaids — which included newly-minted nephew Prince George and niece Princess Charlotte and BFF Jessica's kids John and Brian Mulroney!
A WALK TO REMEMBER
In her 2011 wedding to Will, Kate was walked down the aisle by dad Michael. Meghan took a different route, however — she walked by herself most of the way before being joined by future father-in-law Prince Charles for the last few feet.
SEALED WITH A KISS
Will and Kate had their big kiss moment on the balcony of Buckingham Palace while Meghan and Harry had theirs on the steps of St. George's Chapel.
Both couples left in horse-drawn carriages, proving once more that fairytales are real.
