The little guy was quiet and calm as his parents greeted the press.
Harry held his son while Meghan gently stroked his head.
The new mom couldn't have looked happier!
Wearing a white sleeveless dress, Meghan was glowing as she stood behind Harry, who held their newborn son in his arms.
Asked what it’s like being a new mom, Meghan said: “It’s magic. It’s pretty amazing. I have the best two guys in the world, so I’m really happy.”
Meghan went on to say that Baby Sussex “has the sweetest temperament. He’s really calm.”
Harry then added, “I don’t know where he gets that from!”
“He’s just been a dream,” Meghan said. “It’s been a special couple of days.”
Meghan also acknowledged the family's admirers, saying, "Thank you everyone for all the well wishes and the kindness. It means so much."
"Parenting is amazing," Harry said. "It’s only been two-and-a-half days and we’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy and spend some precious time with him."
"Everyone says babies change so much over two weeks," Harry said. "We’re basically monitoring how the changing process happens over this next month really. His looks are changing every single day so who knows [who he looks like]."
"There’s a little bit of facial hair as well," Harry joked of his baby's little face. "Wonderful!"
Meghan and Harry welcomed their son in the early morning on May 6. The couple decided to keep many of the details around the arrival of their baby private, but they announced that they’d be sharing more in the forthcoming days.
During the brief event, both Meghan and Harry doted on their sleepy little one.
"We just bumped into [Prince Philip] as we were walking by which was so nice," Meghan said. "It will be a nice moment to introduce the baby to more family. And my mom is with us as well."
“It’s been the most amazing experience I could ever possibly imagine," Harry told reporters of fatherhood hours after the baby's May 6 arrival. "How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension. But we’re both absolutely thrilled and so grateful to all the love and support from everybody out there. It’s been amazing, so we just wanted to share this with everybody.”
Later that day, the pair announced their son's name: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

Baby Sussex makes eight great-grandchildren for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.
Meghan and Harry's son is seventh in line to the throne, behind his grandfather Prince Charles, Uncle Prince William, cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, and father Prince Harry.
Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland, joined the couple in Englad days before the baby's arrival.
"As every father and parent would ever say, your baby is absolutely amazing, but this little thing is absolutely to die for, so I’m just over the moon," Harry said on Monday.
"I’m so incredibly proud of my wife," Harry said in his Monday chat with reporters.
“They definitely want to [have more kids],” a source tells PEOPLE in this week’s cover story. “Meghan has talked about having one more.”
In his Monday interview, Harry told reporters he looked forward to introducing his son to the extended royal family soon.
Speaking to reporters during an event on Tuesday, Harry's big brother Prince William expressed excitement over his new nephew.
William said he was “absolutely thrilled” about the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son, adding he was “looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quieted down.”
He added, “I’m very pleased and glad to welcome my brother to the sleep deprivation society that is parenting!”
At the Tuesday event, Kate Middleton added, “It’s such a special time. Louis and Charlotte just having had their birthdays – it’s such a great time of the year to have a baby. Spring’s in the air, so it’s really great. As William said, look forward to meeting him and finding out what his name’s going to be. It’s really exciting for both of them. These next few weeks, it’s always a bit daunting first time around so wish them all the best.”
Harry told reporters Monday he'd only had about "two hours" of sleep since his son's arrival, but neither parent looked worse for wear during their photo op on Wednesday.
“Harry has wanted this family life for a while, and he’s going to love it,” says a source close to the royal household. “He’s always enthusiastic with children, and now he will have his own little world that he has dreamed of for a long time.”
