Relax, royal-watchers!

Amid growing speculation about Kate and the birth of her second baby, the pregnant princess was seen behind the wheel on Tuesday, cruising through the gates of Buckingham Palace.

Kate, 33, was in the driver’s seat of a Range Rover with a security detail by her side and nanny Maria Borrallo in the backseat.

It’s thought that Prince George was also in the back of the car. Kate often takes her son, 21 months, to the palace to swim in its private pool.

The royal sighting happened the same day that police teams checked on security around St. Mary’s Hospital, where Kate is set to give birth any day now. There was a sweep of the area, and plainclothes protection officers were reportedly spotted there early Tuesday.

The area outside the Lindo Wing of the hospital was also the scene of a kind gesture on Tuesday when Prince William and Kate sent over hot drinks and pastries for fans camping out there while waiting to set eyes upon the newest royal.
