Queen Elizabeth celebrated her 90th birthday Saturday with the traditional Trooping the Colour ceremony – and more than a little pop of color, thanks to a bright green ensemble she wore that had Twitter buzzing with #neonat90.

“Only the queen can pull off that colour,” one watcher tweeted.

They weren’t alone.

“Queenie’s outfit is so cute,” another wrote. Another said, “Wowzas Queenie… You go girl!”

And PEOPLE’s own Simon Perry tweeted that the Queen’s outfit was an example of “how to stand out amid the scarlet tunics.”
