“It’s amazing,” Princess Sofia told Sweden’s Svenskdam during their visit to inspect the agricultural facilities around Stenhammar Palace, one of the royal family’s summer residences, 75 miles south of Stockholm.
“He is very sweet and well-behaved,” the royal added of her two-month-old son, who was sucking on a pacifier in his stroller during the interview.
Asked which parent their firstborn child took after most, Sofia replied, “He’s a mixture of us both!”

“He’s different every day,” she said, adding that the young prince sleeps “pretty well” at night.
“Being a mother is amazing,” she said. “It changes your whole life.”
“The first time does take some adjustment,” Prince Carl Philip added. ” But it’s still absolutely amazing and wonderful.”

Parenthood may have also influenced the prince to postpone his planned return to competitive sports car racing.
Prince Alexander is due to be christened on September 9 at Stockholm’s Royal Chapel.
