Princess Eugenie just announced her engagement to her longtime boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank — and now she’s showing off her dazzling ring.

In two new portraits released after the news of the engagement Monday morning, Eugenie, 27, wears a blush-colored padparadscha sapphire ring surrounded by diamonds, along with a floral dress by Erdem and Jimmy Choo shoes.

Majesty magazine points out the close similarity between Eugenie’s ring and that of her mom, Sarah, Duchess of York.

Of course, another royal bride also famously wears a ring with a sapphire: Kate Middleton, whose engagement ring once belonged to Prince William’s mother, Princess Diana. (Fellow royal bride-to-be Meghan Markle, meanwhile, wears a traditional diamond-only ring.)

Eugenie and Jack, who have been dating for about seven years, got engaged while in Nicaragua earlier this month and will wed in the fall, Buckingham Palace said in a statement Monday.

The daughter of Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson, the Duchess of York, and Prince Andrew will walk down the aisle in the same venue — St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle — as her cousin Prince Harry, 33, and Meghan Markle, 36, on May 19, Buckingham Palace announced.

“The Duke and Duchess of York are delighted to announce the engagement of Princess Eugenie to Mr. Jack Brooksbank,” her parents said in a statement.

“The wedding will take place in the autumn of 2018 at George’s Chapel in Windsor, with further details to be announced in due course.”
