The Queen’s granddaughter, 28, and husband Jack Brooksbank, 33, celebrated a special occasion on Tuesday – the one-year anniversary of sharing news of their engagement with the world. “#tbt to exactly this day last year – Jack and I announced our engagement,” Eugenie wrote on Instagram. “What a year it’s been since then and how exciting for 2019.” In the photo, the couple admired Princess Eugenie‘s engagement ring – a blush-colored padparadscha sapphire ring surrounded by diamonds, not unlike the Burmese ruby ring that her father Prince Andrew proposed to Sarah Ferguson with, inspired by Fergie’s red hair. Jack – the U.K. brand ambassador for Casamigos, the tequila company founded by George Clooney and Rande Gerber – popped the question to Eugenie during a vacation in Nicaragua.
