The 22-year-old leaves Newcastle University and assumes part-time royal responsibilities
Time to close the books and roll up the sleeves.
Fresh out of Newcastle University with a degree in English and history of art, Princess Eugenie, 22, is going to join sister Beatrice, 23, who is doing her financial services exams, in the working world.
Fifth and sixth in line to the throne, the princesses now intend to work part-time in the so-called “family firm” – the business of handling royal responsibilities.
After getting her degree this week, Eugenie said: “Newcastle University has given me such an incredible three years. I have had a wonderful time … learning and having a fantastic experience.”
Added her parents, Fergie, the Duchess of York, and Prince Andrew, “Eugenie has worked incredibly hard to achieve this excellent result, and we are immensely proud of what she has done, particularly gaining a First in her dissertation.”
