Princess Kate changed out of her favorite well-worn boots and into her chic red heels for an elegant reception in Victoria on Monday night.

After a rainy afternoon in Bella Bella, Kate and Prince William traveled back to Victoria (their home base with Prince George and Princess Charlotte during their eight-day tour) and got ready for an evening reception hosted by the province of British Columbia at the official Government House in Victoria’s upscale Rockland neighborhood.

Kate stunned in a gorgeous off-the-shoulder red gown by British designer Preen. She accessorized the $1,332 satin dress with Queen Elizabeth’s diamond maple leaf brooch.

The royal family of four is staying in the 13-room mansion, which includes a royal suite for the couple and rooms for their entourage.
