Which Prince Wore It Best? How Jordan's Dashing Royal Compares to William and Harry in the Same Military Uniform
It’s a princely rite of passage.
Hussein, the Crown Prince of Jordan and first in line to the Jordanian throne after his father, King Abdullah II, is currently a student the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in England.
But Hussein, 22, isn’t the only royal to have attended Sandhurst — not by a long shot!
Prince Hussein is walking the same hallowed halls at the school his father once attended. And in between the two Jordanian royals, both Prince William and Prince Harry attended Sandhurst, too.
Hussein rocks the academy’s traditional uniform just as William and Harry did more than a decade ago, with its dark jacket and red accents. Though Hussein isn’t wearing the traditional cap in this photo with his parents, he does wear it in the below snap, which he shared on his own Instagram account.
Like William, Hussein is attending Sandhurst after completing his undergraduate education. He graduated from Georgetown University last year with a degree in history.

Back at home, Hussein presently holds the rank of first lieutenant in the Jordanian Armed Forces, but in England he had a visit from his parents earlier this week at Sandhurst.
“Beaming and proud as any parent would be,” his mom, Queen Rania, captioned a photo of the royal trio. “With Hussein at company dinner night at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.”
