Prince Harry‘s ex-Chelsy Davy is kicking off a bold new chapter.

The Zimbabwe-born beauty, 30, has gone back to her native continent to source jewels and create a line of dazzling accessories that will support schools there at the same time.

Her new jewelry line, Aya Africa, will start selling their collection later this year at Baar & Bass, a boutique in the trendy Chelsea area of London.

“The jewelry is absolutely stunning,” a spokesperson at Baar & Bass tells PEOPLE. “We are very excited to be working with Chelsy.”

Davy was Harry’s first serious long-term girlfriend. She met him in 2004 and they dated on-and-off for about seven years. The pair remain friends.

After studying at Leeds University in England, she entered the legal world, working for London law firm Allen & Overy. But she gave that up two years ago and started down the road to her dream project.

She has been in Africa sourcing gems, and an Insta of her proudly holding a rock at the Kagem Emerald Mine in Zambia shows her hands-on approach.

The company also features a shot of Chelsy at the site of a new classroom being built in Zambia.
