When there’s a royal wedding on the horizon, all eyes are on the RSVP list.

Buckingham Palace confirmed to PEOPLE that Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, will be the only British royals attending Prince Carl Philip and Sofia Hellqvist‘s upcoming nuptials on June 13.

It shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to royal fans that Prince William and Princess Kate aren’t attending Carl Philip’s wedding, as the British royals rarely hang out publicly with their Swedish counterparts, even though they are sort of related through Queen Victoria. (Carl Philip’s great-great grandfather, Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn, was the brother of William’s great-great-great-great grandfather, King Edward VII and great-great grandmother, Princess Alice, all of whom were Victoria’s children with Prince Albert.)

In fact, the last time the royals were spotted in public together was at the 2012 Olympics in London.

Edward and Sophie won’t be the only royals in attendance. Spain’s King Felipe VI (another royal with a connection through Queen Victoria) and Queen Letizia might make an appearance at the event, although the royal couple will not release their official schedule until June 12.

Felipe and Letizia attended the 2010 wedding of Carl Philip’s sister, Princess Victoria, and the Spanish royals frequently attend events with the Scandinavian royals – they most recently made an appearance at Queen Margrethe of Denmark’s 75th birthday party in April.

As for other European royals, Queen Margrethe (who also happens to be Carl Philip’s godmother) is confirmed to attend along with her son, Prince Frederik, and his wife, Princess Mary. Representatives from the royal families of Greece, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands are also expected to attend.

And when it comes to the entertainment, Swedish musicians Aviccii and Icona Pop (perhaps best known in the U.S. for their 2012 track with Charli XCX, “I Love It”) are going to play during the reception, according to Swedish reports.
