Adorable smiles run in the Swedish royal family!

Ahead of his christening on September 9, Sweden’s Royal Palace has released new photos of its youngest royal, Prince Alexander, who’s pictured with his proud parents Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip.

On September 9, the 4-month-old prince, who was born on April 19, will be baptized at Drottningholm Palace Church by Lutheran archbishop Antje Jackelén, who also christened the children of Prince Carl Philip’s sisters, Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine.

The baby prince will be wrapped in the royal family’s heirloom christening gown. First used in 1906, it has also held his grandfather King Carl XVI Gustaf, as well as Prince Alexander’s father and aunts.
