Meghan Markle is showing off her signature style!
On Friday, Meghan — who is due in late April — was seen dining with her and Prince Harry’s new deputy director of communications, Christian Jones.
A diner who was seated nearby reportedly said that Jones appeared to be taking notes during their meal.
Meghan, 37, went with a casual look for the afternoon outing, wearing jeans, a navy blue coat and a pair of nude Stuart Weitzman heels, which she paired with a Mulberry purse and gold aviator sunglasses. She also styled her hair in her go-to messy bun.
He formerly worked for the British government for almost seven years, most recently serving as a speechwriter and press secretary for the Department of Exiting the European Union.
In recent months, there have been a couple of palace staffing shake-ups.
It was announced in December that Meghan and Harry’s private secretary/chief of staff, Samantha Cohen, would be leaving her position in 2019, once a replacement was found. One of Meghan’s personal assistants also resigned in November.
While visiting her new animal patronage earlier this week, Meghan received a very bold compliment from a well-wisher.
“What a lovely lady you are,” said Peggy McEachrom, who is originally from Jamaica. “May God bless you.”
“And you’re a fat lady!” McEachrom added, motioning to the Duchess of Sussex’s growing baby bump.
Meghan immediately let out a big laugh and responded, “I’ll take it!”
McEachrom also predicted that Meghan and Prince Harry would welcome a son.
“Oh, you think it’s going to be a boy?” Meghan said. “It’s a surprise. We don’t know what we’re having. I ask everyone what they think, and everyone has a very strong opinion about it.”
