Norway’s royal heartthrob Marius Borg Høiby was pictured last week with one arm around his new girlfriend and the other in a cast.
But the 19-year-old’s acrobatic tumble didn’t lead to him landing on his feet, the magazine says — but very painfully crashing down on to his right hand and forearm.
Borg Høiby was photographed at Oslo’s Horse Show last weekend where he took Linn Helena Nilsen, 20, to meet other royal family members.
The royal clan gathered together to support Princess Martha Louise, 45, who was competing in the event, at one of her first public appearances since she announced her divorce from husband Ari Behn, 44.
Borg Høiby and Nilsen first made headlines together after they posted Instagram photos during a summer road trip across the U.S.
The young Norwegian isn’t the first Scandinavian royal to take a tumble recently.
In October, Denmark’s Crown Prince Frederik, 48, received a public scolding from his mother Queen Margrethe II, 76, after he broke his back during a mishap on a trampoline.
The Crown Prince is now forced to wear a brace, and will continue to do so at least until Christmas, according to a palace spokeswoman.
