A pregnant Meghan Markle took part in her first Remembrance Day weekend as a member the royal family. She wore a wrap coat with a bow belt by Stella McCartney.
Kate Middleton and Prince William arrived soon after, marking the first time the Royal Fab Four have been together since the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Air Force celebration in July.
Kate wore a black sheath dress with an asymetrical neckline, and the traditional red poppy pins for Remembrance Day.
Kate went for a sleeker look than last year, when the then-pregnant mom wore a military-inspired black wool-silk coat with gold buttons from Dolce & Gabbana.
Prince William wore a blue suit with his poppy pins and medals from his military service.
This is the first Royal British Legion event for both Prince Harry and Meghan.
Kate and Prince William are regulars at the event. The appearances comes amid news that Prince William and Prince Harry are considering breaking up their joint “court” at Kensington Palace and creating two separate offices.
The royal family is also expected at the annual Remembrance Day Service at The Cenotaph in observance of Remembrance Sunday.
The Festival of Remembrance ceremony, which commemorates all who have lost their lives in war, holds significant meaning this year, as 2018 marks 100 years since the end of World War I.
