Ee-i-ee-i-o!

Earlier this month, Prince George went on a trip with mom Princess Kate to a working farm and animal petting zoo a few miles’ drive from the family’s country home in Norfolk.

George helped feed a piglet and some goats and enjoyed a slide and played in a sandpit, a story in Australia’s New Idea magazine reports. And he joined in a guessing game of what animals would sound like with mum Kate, 33, the magazine reported.

The fun took place during a trip to 329-acre Snettisham Park farm – which is about five miles from the family’s 10-bedroomed Anmer Hall.

Pregnant Kate says she is due mid to late April and mother and son have been enjoying various outings together before she welcomes a sibling for the little prince.

In March, Kate took her son on a trip to the Science Museum in London, where he had a hands-on experience with the exhibits aimed at young children.

It’s good Kate is keeping George busy. At this age, “George will be talking and running around,” maternity expert Sarah Dixon tells PEOPLE. “He’s at a very active and interesting age and he will be into everything! He’s exploring his surroundings and learning things at a rapid rate.”

She is now back in London where it is thought she plans to spend the coming days before giving birth to George’s sibling at the private Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.
