The couple announced their engagement to the world in November 2010, shortly after William popped the question during a trip to Kenya, with the sapphire and diamond engagement ring previously worn by his mother, Princess Diana.

Here come the royal bride and groom! Prince William and Kate tied the knot in a fairy tale wedding on April 29, 2011, at Westminster Abbey in London.

On December 3, 2012, it was announced that Kate and William were expanding their family. The pregnancy announcement was made earlier than usual as she had been admitted to the hospital suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness.

And then there were three! Prince George arrived on July 22, 2013 – and the world got their first glimpse of the royal baby the following day, when the couple posed outside the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital in London before heading home.
