Princess Kate and Prince William Lead the Celebrity Cheer Squad for Andy Murray at Wimbledon
The royals were some of the many celebrities at the prestigious tennis tournament
The royal couple attended Wimbledon on Sunday, watching from the Royal Box as Scotland’s Andy Murray beat Canada’s Milos Raonic in the men’s singles finals. This was Murray’s second Wimbledon title.
Kate kept up her impeccable courtside style, sporting an Alexander McQueen white dress with fun designs. Prince William opted for a light grey suit and simple black tie.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge weren’t the only familiar faces in the star-studded Wimbledon crowd. Benedict Cumberbatch, Bradley Cooper, Hugh Grant, and Ellen DeGeneres were also spotted at Centre Court.

Earlier this week, Kate attended the women’s semi-match where 22-time Wimbledon winner Serena Williams defeated Russian Elena Vesnina. However, the highlight of the tennis champ’s day was likely her selfie moment with Kate and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, which she shared on Snapchat.
The rest of the box on Thursday afternoon was comprised of an only-at-Wimbledon mix of royals, English society figures and celebrities, including Bee Gee Barry Gibb, Downton Abbey‘s Dame Maggie Smith and Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner.
