With temperatures in England plunging below freezing, this is the time of year when the royals often head somewhere warm and sunny. (Mustique, anyone?)
But even if you’re not a royal, you can vacation like one at one of the many luxury hotels around the world that offer “royal suites.” And for those hoping to experience the most popular castle in the United States (that would be Cinderella’s), the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort has the ultimate regal accommodations.
At 3,300 sq. ft., the resort’s royal suite includes eight hours per day of butler service and features 16th-floor views of Disney World and the nightly fireworks. The princely sum for a one-night stay? $14,000. (And yes, from time to time real-life royals have made themselves at home there.)
But if the royal suite isn’t quite big enough for your party, guests can rent the entire floor, including the 2,750 sq. ft. presidential suite and a total of 21 bedrooms. The cost, of course, is a king’s ransom: $66,000 per night.
