Even in Santa Fe, Jessica Simpson can make her Hollywood presence felt.

Before shopping at Wild Oats organic food market, the actress (who’s been in New Mexico filming her role as a Wal-Mart cashier in Employee of the Month) called ahead to let management know she was coming. Store employees were asked not to approach her and were told to make sure she wasn’t bothered while making her selections. And while she was there, her entourage surrounded her so that she could stroll through the store without being approached.

Jerry: ‘Dancing’ on Air

Football star Jerry Rice is still floating on air after viewers voted to keep him on Dancing with the Stars, despite receiving the lowest scores from the judges. “I’m a football player going to the finals! It’s like going from the playoffs to the Super Bowl,” he says about beating out favorite Lisa Rinna.

But judge Bruno Tonioli says he’s “shocked” about the way America voted. “I love Jerry and I know what he represents as a football hero, but Lisa (Rinna) is the better dancer,” he says. “Jerry has to pull all the stops next week. Look what he’s up against.” The former NFL wide receiver and partner Anna Trebunskaya will go toe-to-toe with Drew Lachey and partner Cheryl Burke and pro wrestler Stacy Keibler and partner Tony Dovolani in Thursday’s two-hour episode.
