When it comes to love, actress Vivica A. Fox is predicting good things for her pal J.Lo: “Jennifer is going to be fine. When one bus takes off, I guarantee you another one will pull up,” she tells Daily Insider. “The men will continue to line up, honey. They’ll be glad when one gets out of the way. She is a beautiful girl with a great body and she’s rich. She’s fabulous. She will have no problem finding another guy.” Any advice? “She will just learn, like I have learned in my past dealing with relationships, to keep them private.”
Fox, 39, whose marriage to rapper Sixx-Nine ended in 2002, says her fellow Kill Bill star, Uma Thurman (who split from husband Ethan Hawke last year), taught her some valuable lessons in matters of the heart. Examples? “To be manipulative in a quiet storm way,” says Fox. “To not always be so outspoken. To sit back and observe. And to learn to manipulate the situation to your advantage as a woman. But to do it softly.”
Though Kate Winslet’s character in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (opening Friday) has her memory erased to get over a relationship, the actress says she’d never do that in real life. “I think all the good and bad experiences that we all go through in life form who we are,” Winslet tells us. “Without maybe some of the tougher things that I’ve certainly been through, perhaps I wouldn’t be me.”
Kate Hudson and rocker husband Chris Robinson took time out to attend Steve Winwood’s intimate performance at New York club Bowery Ballroom over the weekend with Gov’t Mule guitar player Warren Haynes. Fans waved and yelled “I love you” to the pair as they perched in the club’s balcony enjoying cocktails with Haynes and record exec Jack Rovner. Midway through the second set, Hudson left Robinson with his rock ‘n’ roll pals – perhaps to attend to new baby Ryder Russell?
