Hilton and Barton sang along to an acoustic set by Debbie Harry, who performed classics including “The Tide Is High” and “Call Me.” At one point, guests at Richie and Barton’s table decided to light a centerpiece on fire and the ladies were showered in rose petals. Also making the scene: new Lohan BFF Rumer Willis. The entire crew then moved the bash over to hot club Area, where Lohan flirted with James Franco (“They were very affectionate,” says a source. “It almost looked like they were about to kiss”) and Richie wrapped her legs around a male friend, who picked her up and carried her as they danced.

Avril Lavigne, laughing with two gal pals behind a curtain in the VIP section of Teddy’s at the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel. The group also hit L.A.’s Hyde Lounge, where they drank champagne. Dancing with the Stars’ Cheryl Burke dunked chocolate-chip cookies into Kahlua at another table.

American Idol stars Constantine Maroulis and Jennifer Hudson, sharing the stage with a host of Broadway stars (including original Annie Andrea McCardle) in a one-night-only performance of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas benefitting the Actors Fund of America in New York City. Afterward, the cast dined on pizza and pasta at an afterparty at John’s Pizzeria in midtown.
