The jacket of Stop Forgetting to Remember notes that harried Manhattan cartoonist Walter Kurtz is Peter Kuper’s alter ego, making the disguise kinda pointless. Still, Kuper’s woodcut-style etchings — bold, thick black against pale white — are mesmerizing.
