The title of the cartoon pop stars’ CD — which rounds up B sides and rarities — doubles as a warning. Much of the album would’ve been lucky to appear on the flip side of a vinyl single back when people bought such things — though ”Bill Murray” is a nice piece of techno-reggae that also has the appeal of being called ”Bill Murray.” Matters improve on a remix-filled bonus CD, which kicks off with DFA’s pounding revamp of ”Dare.” Maybe, overall, B-Minus Sides might’ve been more accurate.
