Each hilarious half hour was jam-packed with a monologue, interview, fake interview, skits, and music. Occasionally dated (Marion Barry jokes) but still funny, it seems positively bloated compared with the sleek pacing of two other series that benefited from Rock’s genius, Chappelle’s Show and Jon Stewart’s Daily Show.
