President Barack Obama has a few simple words of advice for Hillary Clinton as she prepares for her presidential run.

“If she’s her wonderful self, I’m sure she’s gonna do great,” Obama told Dr. Natalie Azar during an interview with NBC, which was taped Tuesday.

Clinton announced on Sunday that she would be throwing her hat back into the ring for the 2016 presidential election.

After the two traded blows during the 2008 Democratic nominations, the president calling his former secretary of state “wonderful” seems like a big upgrade from when he said she was “likable enough” during the debates.

However, the former political opponents formed a much tighter bond after Clinton served as secretary of state in Obama’s cabinet from the beginning of his presidency in 2009 through 2013.
