Politics Election Day Stamina! Savannah Guthrie, 8 Months Pregnant, Stays On-Air All Day with Ease By Ale Russian Updated on December 2, 2020 02:58AM EST Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Heidi Gutman/NBC/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images Being eight months pregnant is not stopping NBC’s Savannah Guthrie! The Today co-host was on air almost the entirety of Election Day, covering the developments as they came late into the night without even slightly faltering. She started her normal shift on the iconic early morning show that began 7 a.m. and ended two hours later. She was then a part of the live play-by-play coverage of the election by NBC News later in the night, and looked chic doing so in black-rimmed glasses and a white, belly-hugging ensemble. But her long day doesn’t mean she gets to play hooky from work tomorrow — Guthrie will be on the air at her scheduled 7 a.m. call time tomorrow morning, her publicist confirms to PEOPLE. The show later confirmed that on Twitter — as did Guthrie herself. The journalist surprised fans when she announced her second pregnancy at 44 back in June — a pregnancy that kept her out of Rio Olympics coverage later in the summer due to Zika virus scare. Guthrie is already mom to 2-year-old Vale with public relations and communications consultant hubby Michael Feldman. She revealed last month that she is pregnant with a little boy due in December.
