Politics Donald Trump Jr. Celebrates Girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle's Birthday at Mar-a-Lago Weeks After Announcing His Finalized Divorce Guilfoyle marked the special occasion with celebrations in New York City and at the Trumps' Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida not long after Donald Trump Jr. announced his finalized divorce agreement By Adam Carlson and Linda Marx Linda Marx Instagram Twitter Linda Marx is a longtime contributor to PEOPLE in the areas of entertainment, politics, sports, fashion, design, travel and business. Guilfoyle turned 50 on Saturday and marked the occasion with a lavish dinner late last week at Omar at Vaucluse on New York City’s Upper East Side. Eric Trump and his wife, Lara Trump, were in attendance. “Lovely evening celebrating my birthday with people I love,” Guilfoyle, who is a Vaucluse regular with Don Jr., 41, later posted on Instagram. “Thanks to everyone who joined me last night to celebrate in New York City!” she wrote. “Love ya all for a great dinner kicking off the bday weekend.” A second post showed attendees singing her happy birthday as she blew out the candles on a custom cake. That wasn’t where the festivities ended. Guilfoyle also joined the Trump family on their trip to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, over the weekend, where she was serenaded by singer Kaya Jones, an early member of the Pussycat Dolls. “Very intimate group last night for @kimberlyguilfoyle birthday!” Jones’ boyfriend wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of the two couples together. “A great time with a lot of laughs!” Don Jr. posted a clip of Jones singing Guilfoyle happy birthday, writing, “Really fun night. Thanks again.” A Mar-a-Lago source tells PEOPLE that the party there “was very small and lots of fun, designed to give Kimberly a great day at the club.” The source saw them at lunch last weekend and Guilfoyle “was talking about being a pisces and laughing and looked very happy.” In a separate post on Instagram, he gushed of his girlfriend, a former Fox News host: “Thanks for everything you do and I look forward to celebrating many more of these with you. Love you.” Guilfoyle also found time to sit down with the president himself, according to her Twitter. She shared a photo of her and Don Jr. with the president, Republican operatives Sergio Gor and Tommy Hicks and controversial conservative personality Charlie Kirk. “A great group of patriots and our incredible President @realDonaldTrump!” Guilfoyle wrote, adding, “What a great way to celebrate a birthday weekend.” She and Don Jr. reportedly began dating in April after his wife of 12 years, Vanessa, filed for divorce last March. The two have remained amicable, however, and in June Vanessa shared a message of support for Don Jr.’s new romance. “The lengths people will go to attack a woman simply because she’s dating Don,” she tweeted. “We’ve been separated for over 9 months and respect each other’s decisions & privacy,” she wrote then. “We’ll focus on raising our great kids. Would be nice if the press did the same rather than obsess over our [private] lives!” In late February, PEOPLE confirmed that Don Jr. and Vanessa had finalized their divorce agreement before the new year. “We are incredibly lucky to have five amazing children and are committed to raising them together,” they said in a joint statement. “Our kids and their happiness will always be our first priority.” A spokesman for the New York state court system said then that the divorce case “has been resolved,” but said he could not provide more details as the paperwork was sealed. Also at Mar-a-Lago last weekend were Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner, both senior aides in the White House, and their children. The president also spoke with Republican donors where, according to the political news website Axios, he joked about Secret Service agents wearing blackface because of their night vision goggles and claimed that he did not call the Apple CEO “Tim Apple,” despite video proving otherwise.
