Donald Trump Fires Back At Carly Fiorina on Twitter: She Has 'Zero Chance!'

Trump has Tweeted about Fiorina after she condemned his controversial "blood" remarks

Fresh off of his controversial “blood” comments about Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, Donald Trump has zoned in on a new target: GOP candidate Carly Fiorina.

“I just realized that if you listen to Carly Fiorina for more than ten minutes straight, you develop a massive headache,” he Tweeted on Sunday before adding that Fiorina, 60, has “zero chance” at winning the GOP nomination.

Trump, 69, has encountered backlash recently for saying on Friday that Kelly had “blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her wherever.”

He holds that he was not referring to Kelly’s menstrual cycle, but Fiorina told CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday on “State of the Union” that “women understood that comment.”

She added: “And yes, it is offensive.” The tech executive said that women are “horrified” by Trump’s comments.

Perhaps an unsurprising next target for Trump, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO was widely regarded as the winner of last Thursday’s “undercard” Republican debate, where she poked at Trump for his past support of Bill and Hillary Clinton.

She did not mince words about the business mogul when it came to Trump’s attack on Kelly, Tweeting: “Mr. Trump: There. Is. No. Excuse.” And “I stand with @megynkelly.”

Trump’s Tweet is a complete turn-around from his earlier comments about Fiorina. Just days ago, he told Fox News that he thought Fiorina had been “an effective debater.”

A spokeswoman for Fiorina said she had no comment on the latest from Trump.

Kelly has not spoken publicly about Trump’s comment, but many in the crowded GOP field have condemned Trump’s remarks, including Rick Santorum who indirectly addressed the issue in a statement obtained by PEOPLE, saying, “Enough is enough.”

The Trump campaign defended the mogul in a statement to PEOPLE on Saturday saying, “Mr. Trump made Megyn Kell look really bad – she was a mess with her anger and totally caught off guard.”
