It’s a Baldwin brothers showdown.

Stephen and William “Billy” Baldwin got into a Twitter spat earlier this month over (you guessed it) the 2016 presidential election.

It all began when Stephen took to the social media site to condemn Anderson Cooper‘s news coverage of Donald Trump.

“If my father were alive today (a veteran) He would be ashamed & disgusted of media biased & manipulation by people like @andersoncooper,” he wrote on Oct. 9, referring to the Baldwin family’s late patriarch, Alexander Baldwin Jr.

Billy replied to his brother’s tweet a day later, writing, “If our father were alive today … he’d smack you in the side of the head for supporting Donald Trump.”

Hundreds of Twitter users retweeted Billy’s post, and the comeback prompted praise from Frozen star Josh Gad.

“You win @BillyBaldwin, you win,” Gad tweeted.

All seemed to end well with the brothers, though, as Billy wrote in a tweet on Friday: “BTW… love Bro Stephen. Just KNOW our father would never support the politics of or a man like Donald Trump… EVER.”

Stephen has not been shy about his support of Trump, and recently told CBS News that he isn’t a fan of his brother Alec‘s impression of the GOP nominee on Saturday Night Live.

“He’s got the voice down very well,” Stephen said at the third presidential debate. “I think it’s getting a little too nasty right now.”

He added: “I don’t want to be party pooper here, but I don’t think it’s very funny. I don’t think there’s anything funny about this election.”
