Bill and Chelsea Clinton Will Be in Debate Audience to Support Hillary
The presidential candidate's family will be there to support her as she squares off with Trump once again
This news comes after a potentially race-changing few days, particularly since the revelation of a 2005 video of Donald Trump exchanging lewd comments about women during a conversation with then-Access Hollywood cohost Billy Bush.
But for Trump’s opponent, Clinton, 68, has had an oddly calm few days as she prepared for the second presidential debate. She has yet to publicly comment on Trump’s tapes.
Last Tuesday, the former Secretary of State was featured with her husband on the cover of Hola‘s U.S. magazine. The issue was released last week, but the cover was taking in the primary season, before Clinton’s Nevada caucus victory speech.
“It was just the most incredible joy,” she said about welcoming the latest members of the Clinton family. “My friends who are grandparents always told me how amazing it would be. I didn’t fully understand what they meant until I experienced it.”
Chelsea has been very vocal about her support for her mom in the months leading up to the general election. In September, she talked about her admiration for the Democratic candidate during an interview on The View.
“I hope my children are as proud of me as I am of my mom someday,” she said.

The campaign trail got even sweeter for Clinton, who spent the weekend under the radar as she prepared with some delicious treats for her team. After Friday’s prep, Clinton took her team to Brooklyn-based creamery Ample Hills to indulge in the Hillary Clinton-inspired ice cream flavor, Madam President. The flavor is made of a chili pepper chocolate ice cream and has chunks of the presidential hopeful’s award-winning oatmeal chocolate chip cookies mixed in.
Clinton and Trump are set to take the stage together once again for the second presidential debate, airing live at 9 p.m. ET.
