The Chihuahua-rat terrier mix may not look so tough, but the Guinness World Records holder – she’s the smallest dog used for law enforcement – has earned credit for several narcotics-related arrests at the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office in Ohio. The devil at U.K.’s Love magazine doesn’t wear Prada – he wears Marc Jacobs. That’s because the fashion designer is bull terrier Neville’s dad. The posh pooch is acting as guest editor of the magazine’s website this year and deemed Jacobs’s 2014 collection suitable for canines.

When retinitis pigmentosa began to affect Marty Puckett’s eyesight, Audree joined him at work each day in the plumbing department of Lowe’s in Lancanster, Ohio. Truly one of the staff, she had a bed and water bowl in the break room. Audree retired in 2013, and Ruby, a new yellow Lab, has been trained to fill the position.

HECTOR: THERAPY DOG
A former Michael Vick fighting dog, Hector was adopted into a loving home by a staffer from the Animal Farm Foundation. Now, he travels to schools around the Northeast to teach kids about pet care. And a round of ap-paws: He even won an award for his efforts!

CODY: GAS STATION GREETER
Cody never held an official title, but the pooch welcomed customers with his owner behind the counter at a Clearwater, Fla., BP gas station in 2009. He wore a company shirt, snacked on Slim Jims and danced when Elton John came on the radio.

Found abused and abandoned on the side of the road in 2008, Tivi is now thriving – and bringing home the bacon! The dog has been serving as director of “barketing” at Oregon’s Sunriver resort since 2010. Duties include starring in the hotel’s pet-friendly marketing campaign and receiving lots of fun prizes!
