Adam Rippon. Chloe Kim. Gus Kenworthy. The Shib Sibs. Yes, we know, they’re all adorable. “America’s Sweethearts,” you might say. But just wait until you meet Team FUR-S.A.

As WBTV.com reports, the kitty and puppy athletes currently residing at Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Care and Control are going for the ultimate gold: a forever home.

With events like “Puppy Slalom” (see above), as well as “Kitty Hockey” (and a “Puppy Hockey” version too, see below!), the North Carolina based animal shelter has been inspiring sports fans to adopt needy, furry athletes for the past three years.

For instance, AC&C Cold Weather Games announced that “cat-lete” and seasoned hockey player Ashley hopes to win “the Gold” by finding a new home before the end of the games.

Meanwhile, the Puppy Pack hockey team played “a fantastic,” but ruff game, “a couple of them were sent to the penalty box” for wrestling and chewing on the puck, says AC&C. But don’t let that deter you; everyone (human and fur baby alike) wins during these Winter Olympics, and you don’t even have to shell out for airfare to Pyeongchang.

No word yet about paws-on-ice dancing or furry figure skating, but you’re only a click (and a lick!) away from Olympic glory. Gooooo team, adopt now!
