While some of us sit at home alone in a slanket, eating blocks of cheese, flamingos are out there finding true love.

Two such birds of a feather recently celebrated their hot pink love affair by getting married in a tropical paradise.

Allie and Noah — yes those are the names of The Notebook lovebirds, too — met on the beaches of Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino, home to the only population of pink flamingoes in Aruba. The pair fell in love instantly, and they were soon dancing beak-to-beak and necking all the time.

To celebrate National Pink Flamingo Day, the resort threw the local couple a wedding on the hotel’s private island, complete with accessories and a beflowered chuppah. Renaissance Aruba hopes the rosy nuptials remind everyone that everlasting love exists

For any haters trying to rain on Allie and Noah’s special day by saying eternal love in the animal kingdom doesn’t last, just remember that flamingoes are monogamous animals.
