We Tried It: Sharing a Glass of Cat Wine with a Feline Friend
See how three adoptable cats reacted to Apollo Peak cat wine
This year Apollo Peak released a unique product for felines: cat wine.
The Internet instantly started buzzing about this invention, heralding it as a product to help ensure many cat lovers would never drink alone again.
Not one to shy away from quality cat time, we set up an intimate wine sipping session at PEOPLE with three adoptable cats from the North Shore Animal League America.
Once our taste-testers arrived we promptly served them a glass (bowl) of Pinot Meow; it’s an intoxicating blend of beet juice, catnip, salt and natural preservatives.
While the nose of the wine intrigued the cats, none took the plunge. Even with treats, toys and encouragement, our morally chaste trio of felines weren’t interested in imbibing.
Maybe they’re just waiting for some cat beer instead?
