Watson lives in Washington state, with his human Jennifer. At a year and a half old, he’s still just in love with everything and everyone, which proved important when Jennifer adopted Kiko, 5.

Kiko has some anxiety issues, and one of the only things that eases them is Watson.

“It’s like Watson knew that Kiko needed support, so he started to always lay by him and help him get more of his confidence back,” Jennifer told The Dodo. “Kiko is still a work in progress but at least now he feels more comfortable at home.”

After Kiko, then came Harry, who’s the odd species out in the group: He’s a cat. Watson soon overcame their differences with the power of his snuggles, and now Harry will play fetch with Kiko and Watson as if he was a dog. Most crucially, he naps with them.

A lot.

So if you’re in the mood for some positively adorable interspecies nap pics, swing on over to the trio’s Instagram. It’s not all sleep shots, but … it’s mostly sleeping shots, and that’s what you’re really there for, isn’t it?
