Perhaps you’ve heard of the “mannequin challenge.” Perhaps you’ve also heard of boxer dogs. If so, then boy do we have a video for you! See above.

Now that I’ve fulfilled the essential information about this video, let’s all talk about something I don’t think gets mentioned nearly enough: The stock music in YouTube videos.

In this YouTube video, for instance, it’s a kind of … Muzak-esque reggae. Like the “song” a child would make with a Casio keyboard, or the work of a professional musician blowing off steam after downing a bunch of shots. What are its origins, and how does someone find it and put it on a video of a dog being very still? Is there a repository of songs exclusively for this purpose?
