As the Democratic and Republican presidential debates sally forth, cats are discreetly joining the political game as well.

Several felines gave us a peek into cat-kind’s plan for complete world domination – by taking over the stage at the G20 Summit in Antalya, Turkey.

According to UPI, on Sunday, a trio of stray cats wandered onto the platform meant for powerful world leaders. One kitty in particular led the charge, stepping out first, while his comrades followed.

After surveying the situation and sniffing the display flowers, the cats appeared to decide that political chess games are best played from the sidelines and wandered off stage.

We don’t envy Barack Obama or Vladimir Putin, who each took the stage after the cats departed. That is a tough act to follow.
