Glass walls can’t keep them apart

In possibly the most adorable playdate ever, a young gorilla named Kamoli and a 2 1/2 year-old human named Isaiah met each other at the Columbus Zoo in Ohio and immediately began playing an impromptu game of peek-a-book, despite the glass wall that separated them.

After coming face to face with each other against the thick glass and sizing each other up, Kamoli decided Isaiah was a like-minded playmate. He hobbled behind a fake tree stump while the toddler chased after him, and the play session commenced.

Their inherent friendship shouldn’t come as much of a surprise given the similarities of the toddler and the young gorilla: They’re close in size, flail their arms in a nearly-identical manner and both make incoherent noises.

The only question: Who’s cuter? Wait, wait, don’t answer that!
