Wall Street Goes To the Dogs On Xmas Eve
Some adorable pups in need of a home ring the New York Stock Exchange Bell.
Here’s the perfect cure to all the bad Wall Street news lately: puppies! As part of the Iams Home 4 the Holidays pet adoption drive, representatives from Helen Woodward Animal Center, as well as a group of puppies and kittens available for adoption, rang the trading bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Christmas Eve morning. Shown here, Pax, an orphaned pup, gets some love from floor official Albert Young. Also on hand, TV personality and Animal Fair magazine editor Wendy Diamond and her beloved Maltese, Lucky.
The Iams Home 4 the Holidays pet adoption drive launched in October and pledged to find homes for at least 1 million animals between Oct. 1, 2008 and Jan. 5, 2009. As of today over 950,000 were adopted into loving homes!
