Sloths aren’t known for their speed or stealth, but some still manage to be sneaky.

One of these cute creepers managed to surprise a shop owner in Peru. The man was opening up his store, but still had the door locked.

Undeterred by rules or shop hours, the three-toed sloth tried to crawl into the store, giving the owner a spook.

While the owner didn’t see him, plenty of onlookers spotted the furry snoop and took videos and photos of the animal.

Eventually animal rescuers picked up the sloth, which is endangered in Peru, and released him into a wild area.
