Who knew cats made such excellent chaperones?

A Los Angeles couple decided to set up a camera in their home to monitor how much their dog, Chazz, was barking when they were at work. The footage reveals that Chazz did, indeed, bark hysterically — but their cat, Greyscale, immediately shut it down.

The video shows Greyscale jumping up onto the bed where the dog is perched. Greyscale proceeds to stare menacingly at Chazz until he stops barking.

“My wife, Ashley, and I have been monitoring our pup at home to get a sense of how much barking he’s been doing. Chazz had just started barking after my wife and I left for work but luckily our cat, Greyscale, shuts that down,” writes Devon Meadows, who posted the video.

After jumping off the bed, Greyscale looks back, just to make sure Chazz learned his lesson, and the pup sits down at attention.

Who runs the world? Cats.
